The Setting

Our Pre School room is organised and structured by qualified

staff and supported by high quality resources to help us deliver

our engaging curriculum. We always emphasise learning

through play and will ensure that the children can explore their

own fascinations and interests whilst teaching and developing

fundamental skills such as:

  • Independence
  • Confidence
  • Physical skills both gross & fine
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Imaginative and creative play
  • Talking and negotiation
  • Knowledge of their own abilities
  • Children to manage their own risk
  • Knowledge and love of nature

These are highly important and formative years; children need

time to expand on their own knowledge in a sensitive way that

is meaningful for each individual child.

Our Pre School areas are designed to ensure that children can

engage, socialise, and communicate with their peers,

encouraging each child to develop their own independence and

social skills, through child led play, structured activities and

spontaneous learning opportunities.

Our aim is to ensure that every child develops in confidence and

gains a passion and enthusiasm for learning, in preparation for

their transition to school whilst having fun during their time

with us.
