Folksworth Pre School is a well established pre school which has been running since 1979. We pride oursleves in providing a happy, relaxed atmosphere where children can learn through play about themselves, others and the world around them.

We provide a stimulating and caring environment with a varied curriculum to ensure progression of experience and learning. We give each child the opportunity to stimulate their imagination, develop creativity, enrich their language, develop self-confidence and gain the social skills required to enable them to successfully integrate with others when they go to school.

Above all, we provide an enthusiasm for learning which, we hope, they take with them throughout their lives. Yaxley Gazette June Issue

This month we have been making hand print fish art work, some of which
will later be printed on mugs for parents and friends to purchase. We
were also lucky enough to obtain from our local Children's Centre a
story sack, which combined story telling and play acting with the
children, they loved putting on their animal tails and galloping
around the hall.

To further raise funds for the preschool, we have now taken over the
village monthly bingo for the summer season. Our first bingo night
will be held on the 25th May followed by our second on the 22nd June,
we hope to see plenty of people there, the entry ticket price includes
11 games plus a raffle strip, we will also be serving complementary
teas and coffees in the interval. For times and prices, please see

We have just had confirmation that we have been approved to take free
twos, which is funding for 2 year olds in special circumstances. We
have also now registered with Care4, which is the UK's leading
electronic childcare voucher provider, enabling parents to save for
their children's care tax free.
